Saturday update – Puppy ambush, video and photos

Everyone has passed the 3kg mark and Alan and Duke (Amigo) have now passed 3.5kg. Adrienne and Aristotle are now joint smallest but everyone has made a good gain, including Dora (Avril) who had put on nothing the day before.

Arnie had a great afternoon with his new owners. He is delighted with his new blanket and has spent that last hour asleep snuggled up to it and only got up when the tea bell rang. They said it was hard in the videos to tell who was who so we are now looking at putting their little collars on. He chose his and is going for the blue one. They haven’t got them on for today’s video which you can see here, but hopefully we will sort them out in the next day or two. Today’s video is funny (and has sound). Watch out for the puppy ambushes, where one or other of them hides behind the sides of the whelping box and then jumps out at their unsuspecting siblings.

Alan plays ball

I thought I would share a couple of today’s photos too. Alan looks completely ready to start playing ball and from the expression on my Mistress’s face there are no prizes for guessing which of the puppies she is holding. (For those of you who have not been reading – it’s Aristotle!)
