Saturday 1st April 2017 – Stealing Wilma’s thunder

I know that Wilma would want to tell you, but I’m going to get in first. It looks like two more of her nephews are coming to live in this country. She’s very excited and was happy to point out to me that the way things are going her immediate family will be the biggest part of the Entlebucher population in this country, even if she can’t have puppies. She is very excited particularly as she has met the humans that one of them is hopefully going to live with and really liked them. That one will even get to live quite close to one of his sisters so family gatherings will be easy for them. I resisted pointed out that I have 22 brothers and sisters dotted around the country, 21 on my mother’s side and 1 other on my father’s side. And of course I’m uncle to three as well. I think it will take her up to 8 nieces and nephews so far but she still has a way to go.

With all the puppies who will be arriving between now and June we will be up to 84 in the country and then of course as long as Bella is pregnant there will be even more. Maybe our Mistress wanting to get to 100 by the end of the year is not such an impossible idea after all.

I’m going to be good today. I know it’s April Fools’ Day and I really could play some pranks on the others and it is tempting, but I’m going to be grown up about it and resist. I might spend the morning day dreaming of all the things I’d like to do if I were not likely to get told off for them, but I guess it’s time to leave being a puppy to Wilma. Our Mistress said it would have been a better day to choose to trigger Article 50 to leave the EU, but I think that might her attempt at irony.  Maybe President Trump will come out with something that no one quite believes is true, but I guess that won’t make it very different from any other day.

Have a fun Saturday
