Younger generation

Younger generation

There are some things that need to be left to the younger generation and computers are one of them. Leaving aside the fact that I am, as dogs go, highly computer literate, there are limits to the things I understand. Actually, to be fair, I’ve reached the age where there is a limit to the things I want to apply my brain to. Being asked if I want a ‘landing page’ on my site is all well and good, but I have not the least idea what our Mistress is talking about. I’m picturing something that planes come down on, but there’s a part of me that thinks a plane landing on my computer could only be a bad thing. I don’t think our Mistress found my response all that helpful. I said ‘If it needs doing, just do it.’ But it turns out she was looking for more of a discussion on the relative merits. I think she’s picked the wrong dog if she wants to discuss philosophy.

Snow

We are forecast snow for today. You cannot believe how much time Wilma can spend looking out of the window to see if the first flake has fallen yet. She also keeps asking to go out, just to be on the safe side in case she misses any. On the other paw, when I asked our Master the other day if he’d had any snow overnight his response was ‘Only two inches’, at which point I realised how used to living in Switzerland he is getting. Here, two inches of snow is considered a national state of emergency and no one is able to continue normal life. Of course, we’re also pretty short of snow ploughs and there is a limit to how much grit we keep in store, but all the same, we are pretty useless.

Crossing my paws

Today is another important day on the Brexit front. I’m crossing my paws that someone will start to see sense and stop this whole sorry mess. Now there’s talk of the risk of food shortages and all sorts. We either need our Mistress to pack us all up and take us out to stay with our Master until everything calms down or I need our Mistress to stock up on Bonios in case there is a risk of those going short. There are some things in life you just shouldn’t take a risk with!

Have a great Tuesday
