Squirrel Obsession
Now when I’m talking about having a squirrel obsession, you probably think I’m talking about one of us dogs. Ok, so I could be. It wouldn’t be the first time one of us has tried to run up a tree after a squirrel. However, on this occasion I’m talking about squirrels. If any of you have read Alfie’s Woods then you probably realise she rather likes squirrels. Since we moved the signpost bird feeder in the back garden to where there is shelter if the birds need it, the squirrel has rather taken to it too. Mum has been enjoying watching the squirrel and is only sorry that her good camera is still in Switzerland.
Picnic Table
Not content to watch the squirrel on the bird feeder, Mum has decided to buy a special table especially for the squirrel to use. She has ordered their very own picnic table with bench seats. I kid you not. Obviously not a full size one that humans could sit at, but a small squirrel sized one like this. Apparently it is on sale HERE
Bird Food
One of the blackbirds is in trouble with Mum. It has starting eating the blueberries off the bush even before they’ve ripened. At least with the cherries Mum has a fighting chance of picking some and eating them herself, but she stands no chance with the blueberries at this rate.
A Day with Friends
I had a day with friends yesterday at day care. I love having some doggy friends to chase and it’s hard with not meeting up with my usual friends so often. It does mean I’ve really started looking forward to Wednesdays. There aren’t so many dogs on their holidays at the kennels at the moment, but there are some of us enjoying our days together. It’s good to have something different to tell Mum about when I get home.
Love
Wilma
