Friends are great
Friends are great, especially when you’re currently an only dog. Oh I love Mum and Dad and am never happier than when I have them both nearby, but a girl needs other dog friends to just be a dog with. Yesterday morning it was Albert and Aeschi who were my company on our walk. Dad took me as Mum is still recovering from being ill. Dad couldn’t believe how good I was. The truth is that now I’m feeling much better I’ve got some of my old confidence back. That makes it much easier to be around other dogs. Having my friends there helped too.
Good luck Betty
I want to wish all the luck in the world to my friend Betty. Sometime in the next few days Betty is due to give birth to a litter of puppies. Mum says she thinks it will be around Wednesday, but honestly, seeing the size of her it could be anytime. Most importantly we want Betty and her puppies to be all right. After that, we’re so hoping that there is a little girl in the litter who seems suitable for breeding. If there is and everything works out then that puppy might come to live with us and be my puppy. I have all my paws crossed.
If that were the case then Pebbles would be ready to move to live with us the week before Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas present that would be for me. Mum has already talked to me about how much work there is in looking after an eight-week old puppy so that I know what I’m taking on. I can do this. I know I can. By then the builders will have finished too, so things will be straight for Pebbles arrival.
Love
