My old harness
Pebbles tried on my old harness yesterday. She says she loves it. It might be a bit big on her, but Mum thinks it is still more secure than the one she was wearing. So far, Pebbles is finding it more comfortable to wear and as a result is scratching less. She loves the colour too. Her first puppy harness was purple and she says she loves that colour, rather than the green one she had.

Mum still wants to get her the security one, which has an extra strap. One problem with that is that it doesn’t come in purple, so I’m guessing Pebbles won’t be keen.
Emergency operation
Sloth had to go emergency surgery on his front left leg yesterday. Pebbles still likes to take him everywhere, but sometimes she is a little rougher with him than is helpful. He had a gash across his leg and was at serious risk of losing some stuffing. Fortunately, Mum spotted the injury and he was rushed straight into surgery. I’m pleased to say, he’s recovering well. He will always have a scar to show for his trauma, but no loss of muscle or movement. He cam round from his ordeal very well and was straight back into the thick of the action with Reindeer.
EU deal
Now I don’t know how many of you dogs read the detail of the EU – UK deal agreed yesterday, but it affects you very much. Most importantly, there is going to be a new passport scheme making it much easier for us to travel once again. That in itself is great news. More important still is that rules are going to change on food being exported between the UK and EU and I’m hoping that means you are going to be able to take your food on holiday again. Those two small things will make a massive difference to all those of us who travel.
