Back to swimming
Mum took me back to swimming yesterday. I haven’t been for months, because of all the problems with my eyes. Mum decided that on balance I needed the exercise more than worrying if it was what I really wanted to be doing. It was a different hydrotherapist than the one who used to look after me. I took to her immediately and I think she felt much the same about me. I’ve asked Mum if I can stick with seeing her for my future sessions.
Muscle loss
As Mum suspected I do have some muscle loss since last time, so it would be good to make sure I go regularly. I felt a bit disorientated by everything and was trying to stand on three legs and keep at least one paw out of the water. Mum had taken some of Pebbles’s sprats to reward me with when I did well. They were a good incentive.
By the time I’d finished I was really ready for a sleep.

Workmen
We had workmen at home during the day replacing the insulation in the front wall of the house. Yesterday was removing all the old insulation and today they will inject the new stuff. It was so noisy yesterday with all the drilling. Then Mum went into the kitchen to find four of the special beer glasses had jumped off the shelf. Only one had smashed, which was lucky. Mum then had to move everything off the shelves before anything else became suicidal and she had to do so much cleaning up because of all the dust. Now we have to hope that part two today isn’t as traumatic.
On the bright side, Dad is setting off for home and will be with us tomorrow. I’ve really missed him. I spend much more time with him than Pebbles does and he know where I like to be scratched. Life would be so much better if he didn’t have to keep going away.
Love and licks
