Paddling pool
Just after Pebbles went in the pond yesterday, Mum decided to try her with the paddling pool. Given Pebbles’ love of water, the start did not go to plan. Mum had put a couple of toys in the water to give her the idea. Pebbles reached across and took them out. Then she had a drink from the pool and asked if it was just a giant water dish. Mum tried to explain, but by then Pebbles was trying to eat the pool. Once Mum’s back was turned she tried to drag it to the other side of the pen and managed to move it quite a long way. The one thing she has not yet tried to do is get into the water.
Disappointed
Pebbles is disappointed that Mum has cancelled her puppy training this week. Mum still isn’t well and so can’t take Pebbles. I’d take her myself, but I can’t see that going well. Anyway, Pebbles loves seeing her friends, even if she doesn’t like actually training. She is going to go completely bonkers by the time she sees them all the following week. Mind you, Mum has said Tuesday is going to be really hot anyway, so being out in a field for an hour might not have worked quite so well.
Librela Injection
I have to go for my monthly Librela injection today and Mum being ill is going to mean Dad having to take me. He has never taken me before and I’m thinking there are several things which could go wrong. I will try to be patient with him, but that’s not always easy when he won’t listen to me telling him what we need to do. He’s not going to like waiting outside either, even though I’m much happier there than in the waiting room.
