Quiet day
Yesterday was a very quiet day around here. For some reason we were all feeling sleepy. Mum said it was the weather. What we really need is a nice warm sunny day and no workmen. Then we could all go outside and get some vitamin D. Mum says our next project really does have to be sorting out the greenhouse. I asked if she had forgotten the fences – which she had. The fences are definitely first and then the greenhouse. She was going to order her vegetable seeds. I suggested that if she didn’t let herself buy them until we’d sorted the greenhouse, then maybe that would encourage her to get on with it. We really need to take down and dispose of the old greenhouse first, but I don’t think that is something I can help with.

Sloth
Sloth has gone into Toy Hospital. The bed became free after Hoppig had been successfully operated on and made a full recovery. Both of them have suffered life changing wounds, but are in good spirits. Hoppig now has a scar on his back, but he says he can’t feel anything and has happily gone back to being carried around by Pebbles. Sloth at the moment has an open wound on his leg. He’s booked to have an operation to repair the wound in the next few days. He’s a brave little fellow and has been through a lot as Pebbles’ favourite. Mum diligently makes sure he doesn’t have to spend the night out in the rain, when Pebbles forgets to bring him in. There’s life in the little sloth yet, as long as he has his operation.
Muddy floor
Mum is asking Pebbles and me to be more careful about wiping our paws when we come in. The floor is getting awfully muddy. I explained there isn’t much we can do with the garden in the state it’s in. Then I heard Mum using the very same excuse to Dad when she left mud everywhere. Let’s hope it stops being quite so wet at some point.
