More food, please
Wilma and I have one thing in common, we’re both saying to Mum ‘More food, please.’ In Wilma’s case, she is constantly hungry as a result of the steroids. Mum has now split her meals to feed her four times a day and in between there are Bonios and frozen Kongs. In my case it is rather simpler. Because I’m staying in kennels a little longer than planned, I didn’t bring enough with me. I’ve got enough to last until when I was originally going home, so Mum can plan when’s best to bring me some more. She says she’ll come when the weather doesn’t look as though the drive will be a nightmare. I did ask if she’d be able to stay and play with me for a while, but she’ll need to get back to Wilma.
Yesterday
Dad went to the Raten in Switzerland yesterday morning, with another of Mum’s friends who she walks with when she’s there. They videoed Mum to sing happy birthday to her. Mum and Wilma did the next best thing to going to the real mountain, and sat in the hall where we have a big picture of it. The Raten is Mum’s favourite place in the world. She and her friends nicknamed it Wilma’s Mountain for all the times that Mum and Wilma would go walking up there. I’m hoping one day that Mum might take me, but she says we have some work to do first.
The garden
Mum says that the garden is already starting to look more green. Mainly, she says it’s the weeds growing, but I guess that’s better than nothing. Apparently when I get home we have a lot of work to do outside, but that will suit me fine. Mum’s birthday present was some electric secateurs, but I’m not allowed to help with those. Mum says it specifically says that I should be kept out of the way. I wonder if it mentioned me by name.
