Hooray for the weekend

I think we’re all saying hooray for the weekend this week. Much as we enjoy going away occasionally, with having the builders around all week, weekends have become precious times to relax and catch up. Once I’ve written this, I’ll be going back to bed for a snuggle with my humans. I don’t think either of them really want to get up all that early today.

After that if the weather is good enough, I’m planning to spend some time out in the garden helping Mum. For one thing we’re trying to get the grass cut again. After that, we still have the greenhouse to repair and need to get our vegetable beds ready for planting again. Mum also wants to talk to me about where we should put a dog play area. I’m definitely up for that discussion.

Concrete

I have to remember that I can’t go on the wet concrete. It’s one of those things. If you’re told you can’t do something, you spend all the time wondering what would happen if you did. For one thing, I’d like to know how good my pawprint would look in the concrete. Mum said it would be a bad idea as it’s deeper and it would be my whole leg encased in it. I don’t really think I want to do that. We have no idea how long it will take to dry, but Mum says she will keep me on my lead in that area just to be on the safe side.

Boxes everywhere

I’ve had to make an official complaint about the pile of boxes in the office. How am I supposed to move around when there are empty boxes and packaging everywhere I don’t know. It’s Mum’s fault. She’s been selling some things on Ebay and having to package them up. I think she’s getting fed up with it all, so hopefully the packaging will be gone soon.
