At it again
My humans are at it again. They are both very competitive. The latest thing is that Dad wants to do more photography. Mum spent many years enjoying photography when she was younger but hasn’t done quite so much recently. She says if she has to choose between time spent with her beloved dog or time taking photos then I win every time. Or at least I did until yesterday. Now both my humans want to spend more time taking pictures. And the competition? Well Mum suggested to encourage them both to learn more about what they were doing they should compete with each other every day to see who took the best picture.
Who’s the judge?
To keep things independent I have been selected to be the judge. To be fair, I was selected by Mum. I also appear in quite a lot of Mum’s photos. Add to that the fact that for his time taking pictures Dad decided to go out, whilst Mum stayed at home in the garden with me and I’m starting to think my decision making for round one could be easy.
It will of course become more difficult if they both decide to include me. After yesterday’s pictures Mum has suggested that each day they see who can take the best picture using a particular setting on their cameras. That way they might learn how to use them to better effect. Where I fit in to that one I don’t know.
The results
I don’t have access to Dad’s pictures, but here are just a few of Mum’s from yesterday. She did try photographing the newts in the pond, but taking pictures through water is never easy, so they didn’t come out so well. It’s funny, one of the portraits of me reminds me of one Mum took of Aristotle the last time she spent time outside with her camera.
