A little freedom
It’s not much but Mum is giving me a little freedom. She says that as I now seem to be doing a little better she doesn’t want me to have to be in my crate so much. To be honest, I’m happy with any improvement in my situation. I can’t wander around the house as I do have a tendency to pop upstairs every so often and I’m not allowed to do that yet. It is nice to be able to wander around the office while Mum is working. It’s only a small office, so I can’t wander far, but I can nuzzle up to her every so often to make sure she hasn’t forgotten that I’m there.
Clearing out the lounge
Mum and Dad spent last night clearing out the lounge. That’s the next room to receive a makeover. It’s the last room that will be having lots done. The others will be much less work. Mum is pleased that the carpet is being taken up and replaced with tiles. It would have been a good carpet if the moths hadn’t eaten parts of it. Mum says she’s fed up with doing battle with the moths all the time and they have particularly enjoyed feasting on the lounge. I prefer tile floors too, so I’m happy.
There are going to be French windows out to the garden too, which will be much nicer. There’s a really big window at the moment and the room gets much too hot.
Exciting week
It’s an exciting week. One of my friends is expecting puppies this week. She still has a few days to go, but I just want her to know we’re thinking of her. She’s feeling a bit like a beached whale at the moment, and will be very happy when her puppies are born. We have everything crossed for her and hope that it’s a really easy whelping.
