Storm Bert – Sunday 24th November 2024

Storm Bert

Well Storm Bert had different ideas to Mum for yesterday. Oh we did go out to do some gardening in the morning. However, there is only so wet and muddy I’m prepared to get just to cheer Mum on. The problem is that when I decide to come in, Mum is rarely far behind. We got a couple of jobs done, but not nearly all of them. The plan for today isn’t looking so good either. We’re not sure yet if we’re going to see Pebbles or if it will just be Mum and me going later in the week. If we don’t go then I need to try to encourage Mum to go outside and do the gardening she didn’t do yesterday. To be honest, I quite fancy a duvet day, so I can’t see I’m going to be much help in the process.

Deep snow

My sister has deep snow to play in. She is so lucky. Apparently, it’s likely to be gone again before I go out to see her. I love snow. It’s even better than mud, especially when it is nice and white and crisp. She sent me a video of her and her friend Dimi running through it all. Dimi looks great. He’s a poodle and just looks so happy. I hope I get to meet him when I go.

Meeting Cinders

To be honest I don’t mind too much if today is a quiet day. I’m meeting Cinders tomorrow. We’re going for our postponed walk. I’m really looking forward to seeing her and I know Mum is too. Mum has also got this weird idea that we can collect our Christmas tree on the way back. How she thinks we’re going to get that in the car when I’m in my crate in the boot is beyond me.

Love

Wilma
