Treasure hunt
Yesterday was a treasure hunt rather than a relay race and it was fantastic. I might have shouted just a bit more than Mum was happy about, but apart from that I had a wonderful time. We had to go to the start and then one of our humans scanned a QR code to obtain a clue or instruction. Then we had to do what it said. I wasn’t very good at some of the things, but others were great. The first one was to go around some poles on a lead made of toilet paper. Obviously if we pulled at all the toilet paper broke. It was quite funny really.
The clues
I don’t think I can remember everything in order, but we had to sniff out cheese in a sock amongst a line of socks. I had to go over a line of little jumps and wear a funny Santa hat. Then we had to find Santa and his reindeer, collect some balls, move some toys and lots of other things too. Eventually we got to meet Father Christmas or Samichlaus as he’s known here. It was lovely as Mum hasn’t taken me to see him for years. He gave me a little sack of presents and it includes my favourite biscuits. How cool is that?
Afternoon nap
It was great spending time with Valeria and Megan as well as meeting lots of other dogs. Once we’d finished, Mum took me back to the hotel and I spent a blissful couple of hours snuggled down in my blanket snoring happily. It had been dry in the morning, but as the weather was bad in the afternoon we just stayed in and chilled. I really rather like days like this.
As to what is happening today, I have no idea. I’m waiting to see what the weather is going to be like.
Love
Wilma
