Groundworker available – Thursday 16th January 2025

Groundworker available

We have a groundworker available if anyone wants to employ her. Pebbles is a digger. That’s never been my thing, or any of us apart from Shadow. Pebbles can really move earth. Mum has offered her to the builders for working. Disappointingly they don’t need her. Anyway, she’s a one dog escape committee where her outdoor pen is concerned. Mum said that were it not for the fact she’s about to expand the pen she’d have needed to fill in the worst of the holes.

She still loves her swing. Mum wishes it would fit in the pen, but it would take up too much room. She may put it in once the pen is expanded. I don’t mind if she does as I definitely do not want to go on it – not ever again!

10 kilograms

Pebbles has so totally got the hang of being weighed. As soon as Mum got the scales out yesterday Pebbles climbed on and lay down. Mum had to ask her to get off again so she could turn them on. Once that was achieved it turned out that Pebbles has hit 10kg. She is growing fast and is all in proportion. Mum will be interested to see what the vet thinks on Friday when she has her follow up vaccinations.

An outing

I had my hydrotherapy session yesterday. It was the first time since before Christmas. I was really fed up when Mum said that Pebbles had to come with us, but I guess she’s too young to leave home alone. She did at least sit in the car while I was in my session, so I had Mum to myself for that time. That didn’t stop my hydrotherapist going totally gaga over how cute she is. Why not tell me I’m cute? Ok, to be fair, she does think I’m cute, but I just want it to be all about me for once.

Love and woofs
