Learning to pose
I had my first session learning to pose yesterday. In between me doing laps of the garden with one or other of my toys, Mum did her best to explain to me that sometimes she wants a specific photo. At that point I spotted my current favourite toy – which is a tennis ball that is almost in two pieces, but hanging in there. I ran after it and took it for a quick tour of my favourite places then came back to where Mum was still standing. Mum and I are in discussions over whether I’m just a normal puppy or whether I have attention deficit. I don’t have much to compare myself to, but Mum says I’m really not like any other… at that point I ran after the frisby.

Too slow
Mum is just too slow with the camera. That is clearly the problem. Why would I ever want to sit still for the length of time it takes her to set things up? Apparently I’ll learn to do stumpies and other important photo opportunities, but for now it’s a catch me if you can situation.
Mum did manage to get one photo from my shoot. Actually, she got quite a lot but had to delete most of them as I was the blurred shape running off. She tried for some more natural ones of me playing, but I can see why she says we’ll have another go when I’m more inclined. I do love my swing, but it isn’t something to be stationary on – except when Mum doesn’t have her camera handy. Then I find it quite a good spot to watch the garden from.

I’m guessing we’ll get used to each other’s little oddities in time, but for now I’m just a girl who wants to have fun.
