Progress
I’m pleased to say when we got home from kennels I was able to help Mum to make some progress on the fencing. She got as far as cutting away all necessary undergrowth and getting together all the tools needed for the job. Sadly, she ran out of energy before we started the job itself. It’s a start though. I’m hoping that today we can move on to the actual fence stage. What was funny, was that it was thundering a little and as Mum was tired she decided to pack up and take us inside. It was a very good job she did. We’d only been indoors for about two minutes when the rain that came down was quite spectacular. If we’d still been outside we would have got very wet indeed.
Switzerland
I’ve talked to Mum about the trip she has planned to Switzerland later in the year. Much as I’m finding the world quite difficult, I’ve asked if I can go with them. I do really want to see my favourite places and my sisters. It will be hard on Pebbles if she has to stay at home, but Switzerland doesn’t mean as much to her and she will have opportunities to go in the future. I guess if the two of us got on we might both have been able to go, but as things are it really wouldn’t work.
Mum has explained that we may not stay near where we used to live. There isn’t much in the way of holiday accommodation around there and it’s very expensive. She says she’s going to try to find us somewhere to self-cater and where I can be as relaxed as possible. We’re going to try to time it so that I can go to some Entlebucher meetings while I’m there too, which would be fun.
Love and licks
