You’re kidding me

The first words Pebbles said when Mum opened the door yesterday were ‘You’re kidding me’. Oh, it made me laugh. I had already been out, so knew it was snowing. It wasn’t the good sort of snow that settles and fun to be around. It was the horrible wet sort that disappears on landing and just goes straight into your coat. I didn’t hang around when I went out, but then I often don’t these days. Normally, Pebbles is so happy to go outside that she just disappears off into the garden until she’s had enough. Yesterday, she was back at the door before even Mum was. She’d peed, but decided she could just as easily wait to poo.

My door is still not back

I’m fed up as my door is still not back. It was supposed to come back on Tuesday. That is what had been agreed with Mum. The problem was that Mum was out when it was taken away and the carpenter just told Dad it would be Wednesday. Dad didn’t know this wasn’t what had been agreed. Except then Wednesday came and went again and the door didn’t come home. I think if it doesn’t come back today, Mum may get very cross. I did manage to wait in the right place for coming in once yesterday, so I felt quite proud of myself for remembering.

Christmas Planning

Mum is in full Christmas planning mode. Because she’s going away for a few days she’s trying to get a lot done before she goes. She’s busy writing Christmas cards so they’re ready for posting. The biggest debate at the moment is how safe is it going to be to put up a Christmas tree, given how Pebbles behaves? We always have a real tree. What could possibly go wrong?
