When the sun shines
When the sun shines it is so much easier to be happy. That certainly seems to be true in this house. We all love time outdoors when it’s sunny. I helped Mum brining in some of the vegetables. Pebbles helped when Mum did some more tree pruning and hedge cutting. Actually, for safety, Pebbles wasn’t allowed to help. She was safely in her pen so that she didn’t try to help. She just can’t help herself but run off with whatever is the latest branch Mum has cut off and some of what Mum was cutting had poisonous berries on it.
Pebbles went for a walk with Mum too, but didn’t go as far as normal as Pebbles was being very jumpy and a little reactive. On balance Mum is trying to keep things as positive as possible for Pebbles and not compound problems.
Melatonin
Mum has been told that melatonin might be helpful for me in an evening. It might help me to feel more settled. I’ve only just started on the Lion’s Mane, so I think Mum wants to see how that goes before adding anything else in.
One of the problems at the moment is the extent that Pebbles and I are winding each other up. It’s the old ‘one bark, all bark’ situation. We take it in turns to start and then we just bounce off each other. I don’t really know what Mum can do about it. Even I can see it is a problem and may be a little annoying.
Fun Project
On the bright side, I have a fun project to help Mum with. We are going to buy the Christmas tree in the next couple of days and then I can help decorate it. Pebbles is getting so over excited every time Mum takes an item out of one of the boxes, so Mum thinks it might be better that we work without Pebbles. We’ve worked out where the tree can go for safety (from Pebbles), but it means moving one of my beds. I guess I’m ok with that as it’s only for a few weeks.
