Too peoley
Today is going to be too peopley for my liking. There’s an electrician coming to look at the lights in Pebbles’ room. Then there are some people coming to do some work in the garden and one of Mum’s friends is coming to do some work with her too. That last one is ok as I’ve known the friend for years, so I’m cool with that. It’s the others that I’m staying out of the way of. The lights in Pebbles room really need looking at so I’m not complaining about that. Sometimes when you turn them on they make a fizzing noise and flash on and off – even I can see that’s not ideal. Anyway, I’m staying tucked out of the way until everyone has gone and my world returns to normal.
Choice of music
Mum has decided that it might help us if she leaves music on when she goes out. Why? I’ve never asked for music. I know there isn’t just me to think about these days, but therein lies the problem. Pebbles and I like completely different music. I’m at an age where I want something quiet and soothing – preferably silent. Pebbles on the other paw, likes something a little more lively. I’ve warned Mum that giving Pebbles lively music may be a bad idea in the long run and she’s listened to some extent – but is 50s rock and roll really suitable for a lively puppy? I think the choice is because Mum was teaching Pebbles a little dance routine to one of them and Pebbles seemed to enjoy it.
Glossy coat
After losing so much of her coat that she looked threadbare, Pebbles has now grown a beautiful glossy winter coat. I’m almost envious of it. Mum says given the timing of the coat loss she’s expecting Pebbles to come into season within the next few weeks. At least if that is the case it might account for why she’s being quite so lively – and naughty!
Love and licks
