Mud Monster – Wednesday 11th March 2026

Mud Monster

Pebbles is a mud monster. Yesterday, Mum took Pebbles to training. When they left here Mum was wearing relatively clean clothes. When they came back, Mum was covered from chest to toes in mud. It looked as though she has been rolling in it, never mind Pebbles. As it turned out, Pebbles was the one rolling in the mud and then she kept insisting on jumping all over Mum. We thought it was funny, but to be honest, Mum looked as though she’d had better days.

Parkour

During training, Pebbles had to start with obedience exercises. Sadly in her case yesterday it was more ‘disobedience’. She just wasn’t in the mood to cooperate. Whatever Mum wanted her to do, Pebbles was intent on doing something else. At one point she had Mum completely tied up in the lead and was then trying to run across the field with Mum as a parcel.

Then the serious business was over and they moved on to some fun exercises. How many ways can you use a chair. Pebbles didn’t need telling twice. She was happy to sit on the chair, stand with her paws on the back, go under it in every direction and generally had huge fun. She’s much more a party trick kind of girl than taking life seriously.

Hydrotherapy

Then it was my turn. I took Mum to my hydrotherapy. I didn’t think we were going to get there as we got stuck behind a tractor for a very long way. It was ok because I’d got Mum to leave home in plenty of time. I did so much better this week than I had last week. Thankfully, all my legs seemed to be where I was expecting them to be this week. It made walking on the treadmill much easier.

Apart from Mum, I think we had quite a good day.

Love and licks
