Dog food bag
When is a dog food bag not a dog food bag? When it’s in pieces all over the hall floor. Fortunately, at the time of the attack the bag was almost empty. Also fortunately it was Pebbles’ food and not mine. Mum had emptied most of the food into a plastic container that she keeps it in on the side. She had left the bag not tucked away as normal, to remind her to reorder. We both work our way through a bag of food around every six weeks. Mine is delivered automatically, but Mum has to order Pebbles’ food. Anyway, you probably didn’t need to know that bit.
Little Miss Destructive
That was when little Miss Destructive decided to get involved. Given how hard it is for Mum to open a bag of dog food, it is amazing how easily Pebbles managed to tear it up and leave it in pieces all over the hall floor. When Mum heard what Pebbles was doing she asked Dad to go and sort things out. Given that Dad came back shrugging his shoulders and leaving Pebbles with the food bag, Mum is currently waiting for Dad to get around to clearing up all the bits of bag she’s left everywhere. I hate to be the one to tell her, but she could be waiting a long time. It’s about as likely that Pebbles does the clearing up herself.
Boomer ball
Mum has searched for an indestructible herding ball, but without success. Pebbles insists her current Boomer ball is for playing with in the old pan and not in the orchard. When Mum has tried taking it up there, Pebbles has simply brought it back again. In desperation Mum has ordered the biggest size of Boomer ball for her in the hope she will accept that to play with in the orchard. It’s not very much bigger than her old one, but hopefully she will notice the difference and accept that it doesn’t have to go in the old pen.
