Happy Pebbles – Monday 3rd March 2025

Happy Pebbles

We have a happy Pebbles. She had a wonderful time on the Entlebucher walk yesterday. She couldn’t stop talking about it when she got home. It was really funny. It was as though she thought I’d never been on anything like it myself. I just listened and nodded and felt a pang of longing to have been there with my friends. Pebbles pulled on the lead quite a lot, so Mum’s arms ache, but apart from that she was really good. She was happy to meet everyone and every dog. There were an awful lot of dogs to meet and except a Chihuahua they were all friendly. Pebbles was very polite to them all and Mum felt quite proud of her.

New experiences

Mum said it was good as Pebbles met joggers, cyclists and push chairs as well as all the people. She did want to get into one of the push chairs, but there were already two children in it, so it was a bit full. It turns out that Pebbles chooses to walk straight through mud and is happy to stand in water. She was quite confident to make her own decisions and didn’t need to follow the lead of the other dogs.

Garden time

With the good weather we are also having lots of lovely garden time. Pebbles is enjoying digging holes. I’m just enjoying a mooch. To be honest, with my eyes not right I don’t want to be out there a great deal. When my eyes get dry they get quite sore. I’m better indoors. It’s frustrating, but at least they aren’t as bad as they were. Much as I like the sunshine, at the moment the really damp days are easier for me to deal with. Ah well, hopefully they will improve.

Love and woofs
