Bouncing back

I’m bouncing back. It may not be Wednesday, but Wilma said I could write the diary today to say thank you to you all. I had no idea I had so many friends out there. How can I meet you all? I just love people. Mum says I love them too much and that can be a problem.

Anyway, I’m still not sleeping very well as my tummy still hurts a bit, but it’s getting better. Mum says I’m quieter than normal, but that won’t last long. As it was so hot yesterday, Mum wouldn’t let me do much as she didn’t want me dehydrated again. Nor did I – there were needles involved before and that’s never good.

My hospital stay

While I was in hospital, I worked out pretty quickly who was in charge. Then I told them that while I was there, they could be my human and I’d accept them taking care of me. A girl has to have standards – I learnt that from Wilma. The vets thought it was funny and said I was ‘too bright for my own good’ whatever that means.

We still don’t know what the cause was. Mum has given me a long lecture on not eating everything I find, but as she doesn’t want me to roll in it either, what does she expect me to do?

Sun-bathing

The other disagreement we had yesterday was over sun-bathing. I had to rest, so I took Sloth outside and found a nice sunny spot to lie in. That wasn’t ok. Mum made me come indoors and I had to lie on the kitchen floor instead. For some reason, Mum wasn’t so concerned about Sloth. Oh and Mum says I smell funny at the minute. Apparently I smell of kennels and hospital and not so much Pebbles. Frankly, I think the missing ingredient is fox poo, but I’m planning to put that right as soon as I can spend time outdoors.

Hugs, licks and head butts
