Wind is scary
Wind is scary and makes me jumpy. I was outside with Mum yesterday when she was cutting the grass. It was really windy. I was trying to be a good girl and stay nice and calm, but quite honestly it was hard. All over the garden, plants and trees were waving at me. My ears kept flapping. Leaves were going everywhere and it was really quite noisy too. For me, that all equalled sensory overload. Mum brought me inside so I could have some calming down time and I really appreciated that.
On the plus side, Mum did understand when I explained how I was feeling. She said we wouldn’t go out for a walk as she thought I’d find it a bit much.
Playing football
We did more gardening later and I had lots of short times outside to play football too. If I’m honest, Mum said I was supposed to be using those opportunities to go to the toilet, but I’m a bit scatty. I see the football and forget everything other than charging around the pen chasing it. Mum has promised to take a video soon to show my ball skills. I use my nose and both paws to control the ball and absolutely love it. I think that’s what keeps me so fit.
Dad came outside with me too, and we had a sit down and a chat. He wanted to know how I was feeling about Wilma. Quite honestly, I’m finding it all a bit confusing. Mum was putting Wilma’s crate away earlier and it all felt so final. I didn’t really know how to react.

Birthday Party
Mum is arranging a birthday party for me next month. I can’t wait. My sisters Raya and Freya are coming. I don’t know if any of my brothers can make it yet. I do hope they can. Eiger can’t come but Mum says we will try to meet up with him separately. October is going to be a really exciting month for me. I’m going on a Club walk and I’ve got a two day course to go on too. I’ll tell you more about that nearer the time.
