Grey and wet – Monday 4th December 2023

Grey and wet

Our corner of England is grey and wet. Lots of my friends woke up to snow yesterday. I am so jealous. And don’t even get me started on the pictures my sister Valeria posted in Facebook yesterday. Switzerland is definitely where I want to me. Mum is thinking more the Bahamas, but for me it’s definitely Switzerland. Even Salvo and Izzy had a decent amount of snow and they live in Derbyshire which is only about an hour from here. We had grey skies, and drizzle all day. The ground is waterlogged and muddy and I’m not allowed to roll in the mud, so there is just no fun to be had at all. Ari didn’t even finish putting up his Christmas lights and said he’d see how today is.

On the bright side

On the bright side it meant Mum did some cooking and we of course helped. Ari and I took turns to clean the kitchen floor. We appreciate Mum being so clumsy, it’s a bit help. I felt a bit guilty when I heard from my friend Oden and he told me how well his diet has gone. He is doing so much better than I am. I don’t think my heart’s in it. Mum said I shouldn’t be too disheartened as I’ve lost some and we haven’t weighed me for a while, so it might be better than I realise. I know my harness is a little loose, so it could be good news.

Back to builders

I’m bracing myself for being back to builders again today. Mum says there may be a lot going on if they are going to get as far as they’ve said for Christmas. I’m going to stay out of the way and try not to let it bother me so much.

Love

Wilma
