Off for a walk
If things go to plan I’m off for a walk with my friends today. We’re going to a place I’ve not been to before called Tittesworth Reservoir. Thankfully, yesterday I had a really good day and was able to tell Mum and Dad that my back wasn’t really hurting at all. It’s quite a long walk today but I think I shall be all right. I’m going to stay on lead and not chase around with my friends, which is a shame, but definitely better than not being able to go. I may have to accept not walking too close to Izzy as we shout to each other all the time when we do that.
Lots of garden time
Yesterday I had lots of garden time. It was really windy but at least it wasn’t raining. That meant that the grass started to dry out a little, so Mum got the mower out. Mum thinks to get through all the grass cutting, with how long it all is, will take around ten battery charges worth of mowing. We managed three yesterday, which only leaves another seven to do before the grass grows again. Once it’s all shorter it won’t be so bad as long as it doesn’t keep raining all the time.
Drying the washing
Mum decided being so windy was a good time to catch up on all the washing and she and I hung it outside. We used lots of pegs so that it didn’t blow away, but even then we nearly lost a duvet cover and Dad’s tee-shirt wrapped itself around an apple tree.
Planning my treatment
Mum couldn’t get me an appointment to start my treatment until a week on Monday. As it turns out, she’s been told about a place that might be better for me to go to that isn’t much further away. Tomorrow we’re going to ring and find out how soon they could fit me in and see if we can get a referral to go there instead. Paws crossed.
Love
