Seeing friends
Tomorrow I shall be seeing friends. I don’t mean humans that Mum and Dad know, although there will be some of those. I mean my friends. We will be going on a walk together and I just can’t wait. It is so long since I’ve seen my friends for a group walk. My friend Albert is going and he’s always good company. I don’t know who else will be there, but I’ll be happy whoever turns up. We’re walking at a park at Daventry that I really like. We’ve been a number of times now and it is a great place to meet up. There’s a very big lake which has a good path all the way around. It’s not that I mind when it’s muddy, but made up paths do cut down on the amount of moaning from our humans.
Other plans
Our other plans for the weekend depend on the weather. If it’s dry then Mum and I will be outside all the time. She really wants to do some catching up. If it isn’t dry then it won’t be nearly so much fun. The humans have more jobs indoors than there’s time for, but none of them really need my help. Mum has promised to go to the storage unit to see if she can get my other bed. That’s exciting. I know exactly where I want to put it as long as Dad doesn’t say he’ll trip over it there.
Dad actually came out with the comment that I already have plenty of beds. Can you believe that? I girl can never have too many beds. It’s important to be comfortable wherever you decide to lie down. Humans don’t just lie on the floor and I don’t see why I should either.
