The smell of Pebbles – Wednesday 4th December 2024

The smell of Pebbles

I’ve been taking in the smell of Pebbles. Mum went to see her yesterday. As soon as she came in, she knelt down with me so I could sniff her jumper to take in the smell of Pebbles.

What can I tell you? Mum says the whole litter seem to be very calm and have lovely temperaments. Of course, looks can be deceptive, but I am hoping she’s right. She did bark when Mum was there, but only a little bit and so far, of course, it isn’t very loud. She’s beautiful, but you can see that for yourself in the pictures.

Very cuddly

Mum says that Pebbles is very cuddly and she can see us both curling up together. I said it might take me a bit of getting used to, but I’m willing to give it a go. At one point, Pebbles was snuggled in Mum’s arms and dreaming. She was doing lots of funny little quivers. Mum wondered what a six week old puppy dreams about, but Pebbles didn’t tell her.

Wobble board

Pebbles and her brothers and sisters have a wobble board in their pen. Mum said they seemed to be enjoying playing on it. I think we’re going to get her one for when she comes home to us here. She has a swing to play on too. Mum thinks we both might like that, but needs to work out the best place to attach it to. I said it would be fine in the tree, but Mum says the ground is a bit uneven there and she doesn’t want it too high off the ground.

Two weeks to go

So we just have another two weeks to go until Pebbles moves in with us now. I am excited, but sort of worried too. Mum thinks I’ll be fine, but we’ll have to see.

Love

Wilma
