Pebbles is a big girl – Thursday 23rd January 2025

Pebbles is a big girl

Well Pebbles is a big girl. She already weighs 11.3kg and Mum is starting to think that she is going to be bigger than me when she grows up. There is a weight chart for dogs where Mum has to input all of Pebbles’ weigh in information and it then predicts what her final adult weight will be. The chart has used information from over 50,000 dogs of all sizes, so you might think it would be fairly accurate. According to that, Pebbles will end up weighing 29kg – that is far too much for a female Entlebucher unless she were over-sized. Pebbles is slim at the moment and a lovely shape, so Mum is hoping that her weight graph will look a little different to the one predicted.

No swimming

I did go to my hydrotherapy yesterday, but my eyes were bad and I was feeling really down. Mum talked to the hydrotherapist and we all agreed it probably would be better to leave it. I’m going to give it a couple of weeks to try to sort my eyes out first. We ‘ve collected the medication I need to move onto and now I have to use it for a week before going back to the vet. I’ve booked that check-up for Thursday next week, so paws crossed.

So much outdoor time

Pebbles is getting so much outdoor time and loving it. She can’t wait to go for proper walks. Mum needs to get her used to a muzzle first. It’s for her own safety as she picks up everything! And I do mean everything. Mum is terrified she’s going to end up eating things she shouldn’t, so she has bought a muzzle. Now we just need to get Pebbles used to wearing it. I don’t think she’s going to be pleased.

Love and woofs
