Crufts is over for another year

Well, Crufts is over for another year. Everyone did really well and had a great time. The winner for our breed was a lovely boy called DJ Bruno von Semberweiden and we send him hearty congratulations. The best girl there was one of Pebbles’ half-sisters, Adele. She lives in Poland. Well done to Adele too.

Polly, Shadow’s granddaughter, won her class. She was in the showring with her young owner, Skye and we think they looked absolutely fantastic, so well done to you both.

Other excitement

Bonnie, another of Pebbles’ half-sisters had a whole load of excitement. She got to meet Clare Baldwin and was on television. How cool is that? She was, of course, amazing. We felt so proud watching you. Well done.

Pebbles is now saying she wants to work really hard at her training so that she can be there next year. Mum says she’s going to have to do an awful lot of work to stand any chance in the ring at all. I’m saying nothing. Although from Mum’s attempt to have the two of us together in the house yesterday I don’t think Mum is that optimistic either.

The week ahead

Pebbles is very excited about the week ahead. Next Sunday will be her very first breed fun day. She’s been asking me all about what happens. I haven’t decided if I’m going or not. I do find it all a bit much at times these days. The decision may have to wait until I see how my eyes are doing. If they are ok I might feel more like it. If I go it will lead to fights as I shall want to be with Mum and so will Pebbles. Dad’s bad knee probably rules him out from having our crazy puppy for the afternoon.
