Spoilt for choice
Yesterday I was spoilt for choice. Both Mum and Dad were outside gardening and I just couldn’t make my mind up who I wanted to be with. Dad was thinning out the apples on the apple trees. Apparently, it’s looking like a bumper year, which of course I think is excellent news. Mum was cutting the dead heads off the roses. In the end it was just too difficult a decision so I lay down in the middle of the garden where I could see them both. It got too warm for me, so in the end I went indoors and just enjoyed the breeze coming in.
Running with Pebbles
I did have a short time of running around the outside of the pen while Pebbles was in there. She was pretty fed up that I was outside and she couldn’t get to me. Mum thought Pebbles might jump out but thankfully she stayed safely in there. When I’d had enough of being outside Pebbles came out of her pen. She was causing mayhem as always. Every so often as Mum or Dad were working, 20kg of dog would bash into them from the side.

Filling in holes
Mum has been filling in some holes in the grass. Her plan is that she will plant grass seed. So far, she’s filled in holes with soil and found she doesn’t have any grass seed. What I’m wondering is, how long will it take Pebbles to realise it would be fun to dig just there? I have visions of her thinking it’s like a sandpit for her to play in. Let’s wait and see. One of the holes is where there was an old well in our garden and the ground that fills it in keeps sinking, Mum wants to see if it sinks again, but it would be best if Pebbles didn’t try to speed things along.
