Screaming blue murder

One of these days when Pebbles is screaming blue murder in the car, someone is going to break in to ‘rescue’ her. What they will be met by is a happy smiling dog saying ‘what took you so long?’. Mum has had several discussions with Pebbles about this and explained it is not overly helpful. Pebbles seems to think it’s funny. She is not in distress. There is no pain or discomfort. It is just that Mum has had the audacity to walk away from the car. Thankfully, Pebbles seems to stop as soon as she can’t see Mum and realises Mum will not be fooled into coming back to her. Then she just looks out of the window – quite calmly, until Mum comes back.

Meeting Santa

Pebbles received an email from her dog training classes yesterday to say that Santa Paws will be doing a special session at the farm shop next to the training field. Dogs can go along and have their photograph taken with Santa Paws. Now, I know this may seem like a lovely idea and that Santa Paws is probably a great dog lover, but do you really think he’d be ready for Pebbles? The likely chaos which would ensue but be more than Rudolph could handle, let along Mum. However much Pebbles whines that she would like to go, I cannot see Mum being foolhardy enough to give in.

Time with Dad

I can’t wait to have some time with Dad later. As long as his flight isn’t delayed he will be here mid-morning. He will go straight to bed when he gets here, but I’d be happy to do that too. Mum is off to see Granny, so she’s left me in charge anyway. The least I can do is keep Dad company until Mum returns.

Love and licks
