Fuss about nothing
All that talk of snow for us was fuss about nothing. When I looked out of the window there was no more than when I went to bed the previous night. It was really wet and horrible and totally unsuitable for making a snow dog.
It did mean that Mum took Pebbles for her appointment at the vet. She cleared the car of snow and set off with plenty of time. As it turned out there was virtually no one about. Trying to get Pebbles to do what was required of her without giving her any food was not easy. Mum was more than a little relieved when she handed Pebbles over. Mum did ask when Pebbles would be ready to collect and said they would be welcome to keep her longer, but I know she was joking.
First appointment
Although the nurse booking Pebbles in said she would be later in the day being seen, they actually saw her first. My guess is that with Pebbles’ hyperactivity they concluded that the sooner she had been seen the better. Anyway, she was all ready to come home by 11.45am. Mum was getting a bit fed up waiting as it was nearer to midday when she was seen. It turned out that she couldn’t complain thought as the delay was caused by Pebbles doing a massive runny poo all over the consulting room floor and it needing to be cleaned up. Poor Pebbles, she just couldn’t hold it in any longer.
Waiting for results
It will be a few days wait for Pebbles’ results as they have to go off to the lab for full examination. On the bright side, Pebbles has recovered well from her sedation and is back to being her usual self.
Love and licks
