What a day
What a day I had yesterday. I started by helping Mum to do some of the setting up for the breeding test. I can be relied on to make sure she puts things in the right place. When Pebbles came out to help there were one or two ‘mishaps’. Pebbles took a shine to the red balloon which was going to be used in the character test. The balloon is blown up and then released near the dog being tested. Once Pebbles had run off with – and chewed the balloon, there was no hope of it being blown up. Fortunately, Mum had some more.
Then my brother came for lunch, so we were able to have a good catch up. I’m always really comfortable around him and his humans.
The afternoon
Pebbles and I left Mum and Dad to it while the actual testing took place. There were a number of other people here helping and we’d only have got in the way.
When it was all over, Pebbles went out to have a run with Izzy. Dear darling Pebbles. She simply cannot read the emotions of another dog. Mind you, mounting Izzy in a message of dominance, might not have been a good starting point. Izzy grumbled and asked Pebbles to leave her alone. Sadly, Pebbles simply doesn’t get the message. In the end, she had to go inside out of the way.

Once she’d gone, it meant that I could just chill with Salvo. We checked our diaries too and have found a date that we can go for a walk together. We’ve invited Pebbles too, but that may not turn out to be one of our better decisions.
Today’s plan
Today’s plan is chilling with Dad. He is going away for a week, so I really want to make the most of my time with him before he goes. I’ll miss him dreadfully.
Love and licks
