They’re Back
They’re back! Oh the excitement. Mum took Pebbles out yesterday morning and there were Jemima and Francis swimming on the pond. Pebbles has never seen ducks before, but she didn’t get overly excited, which Mum was pleased about. They did fly off, but Mum is desperately hoping that they’ll be back.
After that, the rest of the day didn’t seem all that exciting. I ended up at the vet as I seem to have colitis with the upset tummy I’ve got. I have some probiotics and need to see how I go. It’s annoying as it means I can’t have my main painkillers. I’ve got my paws crossed that everything starts to settle down today.
Our very own Snoopy
Pebbles is working on being our very own Snoopy. Her kennel arrived yesterday. She watched carefully while Mum was building it. To be honest, I think Pebbles would have done a better job. For an ‘easy assembly’ item, Mum made it look awfully difficult.

Once it was in place, Pebbles gave it a full inspection. It has met with her approval. Now she happily runs in and out of it when Mum’s working outside. At least it will give her some shade when the sun’s out. Yesterday it would have been better to protect her from the drizzle, but Mum is not a keen gardener in that sort of weather.

Important news
Oh I nearly forgot to tell you – the diary moved yesterday and except for an hour or two you wouldn’t have noticed the difference. Mum is still helping me sort out a few teething problems, but I think all the important things are working. You cannot believe how relieved Mum was once the hard part was done. I just sat watching. You can take being a working dog too far.
Love and woofs
