Quite enough rain
We’ve had quite enough rain now. It seems to be doing nothing but rain. Our gardening day turned out not to be possible. Mum and Pebbles managed to get some gardening done in the morning and Pebbles took both Mum and Dad for a walk, but it started raining soon after they got back and then just forgot to stop. It meant that Pebbles had much more play time indoors than she’s been having and some of it didn’t go too badly. Some of it… well that didn’t go so well.
Best beds
Mum had moved one of our best beds into the kitchen, in the hope it would help Pebbles to relax in the house. To begin with, Mum was doing some cooking and Pebbles was happy to see what was going on. Once she got bored she went and found a toy to play with. Mum was thinking ‘so far so good’, but of course, Pebbles got bored again. She started tunnelling under the cushion that’s part of the bed and was really funny. Mum wished she’d had her phone to hand to record it. Then the problems began. Pebbles decided to try to kill the bed. Mum wasn’t standing for that and so the bed was put back in the garden room and we’ve got an old one back in the kitchen again.
Chews and Kongs
Pebbles did go into the garden room when Mum was out of sight, but left the bed alone. She raided the toy box instead. Mum didn’t mind that as it is out toy box. Sadly, Pebbles was intent on killing the aardvark she found. Mum didn’t want to give her any chews as Pebbles was sick overnight the previous night having overdone things on the chew front. It wouldn’t have been so bad if she’d always remembered to chew – but she seemed to have decided to swallow some of them whole. Anyway, Mum gave her a Kong, but she got bored with that. You can see a theme here. It was just one of those days!
