Outing to the vet
Pebbles may have seen it as an outing to the vet yesterday, but it was more stressful for me. All she did was say hello to everyone and stand on the scales. I on the other paw had to see the vet for my monthly Librela injection. Pebbles didn’t want to go in the car because she’s not keen on the car.

I didn’t want to go in the car because Pebbles was there and I’m not keen on Pebbles. It wasn’t a great start. Added to that my abscess on my shoulder has been coming up again. Mum had cleared a lot of the material out the night before, but then asked the vet to clean it up. It meant the vet got to do the bit that hurts me, so it wasn’t fun. In fairness, Mum would have done that but it needs someone to hold my head away while they do it.
On the bright side, my abscess is now not a great big lump and I’ll be running around for the next month thanks to the injection.
A good puppy day
Pebbles had a good puppy day in a number of ways. Ok, so she let herself down on the pooing and peeing front, but you can’t have everything. She managed to have some quiet time. Really. She did. She even had half an hour curled up with Mum just relaxing. We were starting to think she didn’t know how to relax except when she goes to bed. She did lick mum thoroughly, but that’s forgivable. At least it will save Mum washing.
She also curled up on the bed in the corner of the kitchen for a nap – Pebbles that is, not Mum. Ok she then ran round the kitchen trying to kill the bed, but you can’t have everything.
Today we’re off to the dog field to see if we can ‘work on our relationship’.
