Physically fit – Sunday 30th November 2025

Physically fit

At the moment I seem to be physically fit. It may seem an odd thing to comment on, but it is just so good to feel this way. I’m even happily jumping up onto Mum and Dad’s bed and it really is quite high. It must be years since I was fit enough to be able to do that so easily. Mum keeps telling me to be careful, but that’s hard to remember when you’re in the middle of launching yourself to the most comfortable spot in the house. Now I just need to see if anything can be done to improve my mental fitness. Mum wanted me to finish the box of Selgian before starting my Lion’s Mane – just in case there was still any chance of improvement. There hasn’t been and I’ll finish them in a couple of days. So it’s paws crossed for the Lion’s Mane.

Feeling Clingy

Pebbles is feeling very clingy and wanting to be close to Mum at all times. That’s the effect of a week in kennels for her. She coped ok, but a week was enough. Pebbles is most definitely happy to be home. Mum took her for a walk yesterday and Pebbles said she really enjoyed being in a familiar setting.

Today the forecast is for sunshine, so I think we’re going to have a day in the garden. I’m going to eat apples. Pebbles is going to do some digging. Dad will be apple clearing and Mum will be cutting one of the willow trees. Actually, I suspect Pebbles will be running off with the lengths of willow. It will keep her entertained.

Physiotherapy

Pebbles is going to see a physiotherapist on Monday. It’s still all art of seeing if any of her behaviour issues are pain related. Mum has to take her into the middle of a town and I don’t think she’s really looking forward to what that is going to entail.
