No more hiding
Well there’s going to be no more hiding underneath the new building for Pebbles. Sensibly, the builders have put some fencing up so she can’t get to it. I think they really don’t want to find she’s been pooing where they want to work. Mum is grateful for both things. Firstly, it means that for the time being Pebbles can’t hide from her. Secondly, Mum isn’t going to need to do emergency poo clears every morning in the dark. Given how muddy the whole area has become, she is very grateful for that. There was a potential disaster in the making – and even I can see that slipping over into dog poo is not pleasant for a human.
Hydrotherapy
I went for my hydrotherapy yesterday. It was one of those days when I was finding life a little confusing. I kept trying to lift my legs out of the water and then was forgetting to start walking when the belt began moving. Mum had taken the venison pate treats for me, so there was plenty of incentive to get things right. I tried my very hardest and Mum was very encouraging. About half way through I gave a very big yawn, but even though I was tired Mum still made me carry on. I guess she knows what’s best for me. It is certainly keeping me fit and strong and does get me out each week.
Running short of oil
We are running short of oil. When we run out we won’t have any heating. It was supposed to have been delivered over a week ago, but the company seems to be having problems. I think Mum’s patience has run out. I wouldn’t want to be the person in charge there today if Mum manages to get through to them. We had to pay when we placed the order, so they’ve had our money for over three weeks. I just hope it gets sorted as I don’t much like being cold.
