Me and Wilma

Perfect Sunday

I had a perfect Sunday yesterday. I had a cuddle with Dad before sending him out for a day without us. Then it was a quiet day at home. The weather was good, so I had some time outside in the morning but then went for a nap. Pebbles didn’t know which toy to play with. She was torn between her boomer ball or her swing. Sadly in the case of her swing it was more about tearing it apart than actually swinging on it, but you can’t have everything. She took Sloth outside and then Duck and ran around playing with them both, while Mum went up and down with the mower.

Mum cleared enough of the grass to make a start on Pebbles’ fence, but will have to finish it today as the daylight ran out.

My afternoon

My afternoon was the best bit. That was because my aunt came round. It was just Mum, my aunt and me for a couple of hours. Mum gave me a Kong to chew on for a while so that I’d be relaxed and then I went to say a proper hello. I had a good sniff of my aunt and it brought back lots of warm happy memories. My aunt went to Switzerland with Mum when they collected me. I’ve known her since I was just seventeen weeks old and have never forgotten how lovely she is.

Anyway, I had a cuddle and then went off to sleep, feeling totally happy and relaxed. That’s what Sundays should be for.

Gardening

Apart from when my aunt was here, Mum didn’t really sit still. Mind you, if you saw her list of gardening jobs she needs to keep moving to make any progress. At least there are only two more battery charges to finish a complete cut of the grass. Then we’re rebuilding the compost bins.

Love and licks
