Further and faster
Yesterday I went further and faster on the underwater treadmill than I have done in previous weeks. I’ve finally got the hang of how it works and was trotting along quite happily. Ok, so I still try cheating and see if I can get away with putting my paws on the edge parts, which don’t move, but I don’t get a biscuit when I do that. It really is an easy choice – cooperate and get a biscuit, try and cheat and go without – I’m a biscuit girl.
1200 and counting
Mum is up to 1200 lights up. I thought we only had 3000 in total, but it turns out there are 3,300. Some of the places that Mum wants to put them up are still affected by the building work, so it’s not so easy. We’re going to try to put another 600 up today. I’m also keeping Mum on track with the hedge. We turned a corner yesterday which means we’re now working our way back from the furthest point of the orchard.
Pebbles Preparation Plan
Which of my toys will I share? My toys are in my toybox. I know it’s mine as it has my name cut into the wood. It doesn’t say Wilma and Pebbles, it just says ‘Wilma’. I don’t really mind. I’ve always been very good at sharing, but it does depend what sort of dog she is. Alfie kept his puppyhood toys very well. Except chicken and pig. He did get carried away playing with them and they fell apart. Shadow destroyed everything she came within ten metres of. Aristotle and Megan were the worst according to Mum, as they spent their whole time playing tug – with any toy they could find.
I still have some of my favourite puppyhood toys but I guess there is no point keeping them forever when they could be enjoyed. I will offer to play with them with Pebbles and see how we go.
Love
Wilma
