Hole in the fence – Friday 22nd November 2024

Hole in the fence

There’s a hole in the fence. It’s not actually our fence it belongs to our neighbour, but Mum doesn’t think Pebbles would take that into account in going exploring. As all boundaries need to be secure before Pebbles comes to live here Mum has gone into emergency fencing mode. She has had to order some more wire and as soon as it arrives next week we will be out making the boundary secure. On the bright side, Mum has completed all the outdoor tasks I’ve set her so far this week, although she does need to clear up some of what she’s cut of the hedge. I think we now have 1800 of the fairy lights up, so there are only another 1500 to go.

Visiting Pebbles

We’re hoping to visit Pebbles again on Sunday. I shall wait in the car again, but I shall be able to have a good sniff of Mum and Dad when they come out. Mum has promised to take some more pictures to show me too. She will be 4 ½ weeks old so is at the stage of being a cuddly little bundle and looking more like a puppy than a guinea pig. Oh I know, I looked like that once too. It was just I didn’t get to see myself or realise we would look completely different as we got older.

Snow

Although we have some snow here, my sister Valeria has more snow in Switzerland. I don’t know if it will be still there when I get there but it will be fun if it is. I need to make sure Mum goes prepared and remembers to pack my spare harness so that I can always put a dry one on. Maybe my sister and I could build a snowdog together – that would be fun.

Love
