Lucky pup
Pebbles is one lucky pup. She was the only one of us to receive any post yesterday. She received the most beautiful collar from her dad, Elvis von der Konigshardt. He wrote to her from Germany, where he lives, and sent the collar which has alpine flowers on it. I had one once, but I rather ruined mine. It made me wish I hadn’t. Pebbles hasn’t tried hers on yet. Mum was going to do that yesterday afternoon, but she had a crazy day with the builders and it was as much as she could do to remember to feed herself, never mind us. (For the record, she remembered us on time but her own lunch was very late.)
Hopefully today Pebbles will move over to her new collar and Mum will take some photos of her in it too. Mum has only just got around to taking pictures of Pebbles in her new Woofles harness. With her new collar too she will look very smart.
Training
Mum did make time for some training and play with Pebbles outside in the big pen. Mum is still trying to sort out some more panels to extend the pen and make it twice as big. She emailed a query to the company it came from, but she hasn’t heard back so she’s going to ring them today. She wants to make it bigger before setting up our swing in there. In the end Mum decided to get a frame for the swing. She had planned to hang it from a tree, but she couldn’t work out which one was suitable. Once Pebbles has grown up and doesn’t need to be kept quite so safe from the garden dangers, I’m hoping we’ll be able to go on the swing together.
Pet shop
We’re both hoping that Mum will take us out to the pet shop again this weekend. Pebbles says she’d like a toy to replace pig and has promised to take care of the next one. I’ve asked if we could possibly have some more of one of the chews that we got last time. Pebbles and I have shared the packet and I really like them. To be fair, Pebbles is still chewing her first one and I’ve finished all the others, but sometimes sharing is like that.
