Perfect Puppy

Pebbles is a perfect puppy. The vet checked all her vital signs yesterday and she passed with flying colours. Mum looked a little frazzled when they came back. They had left with enough time to get there for the appointment time, but then a road was closed. She had to turn around and come almost all the way back home so she could go the other way. Mum hates being late and they arrived a minute late. No one else seemed to mind, but Mum did. Then as it turned out, Mum had to wait for ten minutes while trying to keep Pebbles sitting on her knee. Pebbles doesn’t stay still.

Vaccinations complete

Pebbles was happy to have her ears checked and her teeth. Her heart was fine and everything else that was checked was fine too. Mum gave her a pile of treats and she hardly noticed the needle. She was a bit more surprised by her kennel cough vaccination, but I’d warned her about that. She was so surprised that she left the treats untouched for a moment and shook her head.

The trip home was less eventful, but by the time they got back Pebbles was very happy to be taken into the garden to go to the toilet.

Quiet afternoon

We had a very quiet afternoon. Pebbles was feeling a little under the weather and wanted to sleep. Mum gave me a really big chew, so I was happy for the afternoon. It was kind of nice, although I would rather that Pebbles was just quiet and not feeling ill.

Now we just count down to Pebbles going out. Mum says she will leave Pebbles’ rabies vaccination for a few weeks. She won’t need it until just before our first overseas trip and Mum says she’d rather wait until she’s a bit older.

Love and woofs
