Pebbles is growing up fast
Pebbles is growing up fast and in some ways doing very well. Yesterday, Mum had no choice but to leave us at home while she went out. She took Pebbles through her going to bed routine, even though it was only lunchtime. Pebbles went into her small crate and Mum closed the blinds and turned the light off. Pebbles had sloth to keep her company and his ticking heartbeat definitely seems to soothe her. Mum was out for two hours and Pebbles was just fine. While she’s out, Mum can use the Alexa to drop in on us to make sure we’re ok, but there wasn’t a peep out of Pebbles. Mum told her what a good girl she’d been.

Stormy day
We didn’t have so much time outside yesterday due to the stormy weather. Pebbles says she’s not that keen on storms and I think she may have a point. One thing that’s funny at the moment is how we are with chews. We both have our own chews and we get bored with them after a while. However, if either ever have the opportunity to get our paws on a chew belonging to the other one, even if it’s identical to the one we’ve abandoned, we treat it as though it is the best thing ever!
What is good news for me is that Pebbles is not keen on the fish skins Mum bought. That means I’ve got a whole bag of fish skins to myself – Mum is rationing me though.
Sticks
There is another way that Pebbles and I are different. She’s a real stick demon. She only has to see a stick, however small, and she wants to pick it up. She reminds me of my sister Valeria. Pebbles looks really funny dragging along a thin branch that is much longer than she is. What really makes me laugh is when she stands on it when she’s running and then trips herself up. She never seems to be hurt. She just rolls over and carries on.
Love and woofs
