I love my home
I love my home and I’m so happy to have all my pack around me here. I’ve been as stoic as I can but my right eye is so uncomfortable. It was just lovely to have Mum back to put my eye ointment in and be sympathetic. We’re back seeing the vet on Thursday and I really don’t know what we’re going to do. I seem to be putting weight on too, but I’m not eating more, so it doesn’t make sense. Mum thinks I’m running around less because of my eyes, but I’m not really conscious of that.
Pebbles is happy to be home too. She was feeling very out of sorts and had gone off her food. Now she’s home she’s back to normal. I think it was all just getting a bit confusing for her.
Changes at home
The builders have been trying to get things finished while we weren’t around. They haven’t actually finished, but the kitchen floor is almost tiled. Mum was really excited to find the Portaloo had gone, but that hadn’t bothered me so much.
The garden has been growing madly too. On the bright side that means we will have lots of outdoor time over the next few weeks as Mum will want to be out working on it. It’s time to get our vegetables planted. I know I’m no substitute for Aristotle at times like these, but I’ll be out there lending a paw.
Back to training
Mum is taking Pebbles to the dog field today. She’s asked if I’d like to go too. I’m not keen, but maybe a good run around would do me good. Perhaps I’ll go if Dad will come too. That way if I’ve had enough of Pebbles, Dad and I can slope off and leave them to it.
Love and woofs
