Sunshine all the way
Yesterday was sunshine all the way and we’re hoping for the same again today. I spent long enough outside to get plenty of vitamin D but then found an indoor sunny spot. Pebbles had a wonderful time outdoors. She is just as happy rounding up sticks as chasing bees. The only thing she found difficult was the fact that Mum and Dad were both gardening, just not in the same place. Now, if there is one thing as a herding dog that we need to do, it’s keep our humans together. How precisely are we supposed to do that when Mum is walking up and down behind a mower while Dad is clearing about dead bits of plants in a completely different part of the garden?
The best part of the day
The best part of the day was when Mum came back inside and we could sit together in the big chair. There was still sun streaming through the window and I could lie against Mum’s leg at the same time. What more could a dog want in her old age? Ok, so World Peace was my first choice, but quite honestly I don’t seem to be getting anywhere with that, so I’ve downgraded my expectations.

Sorting through photos
One of my jobs for today is sorting through photos from the last year to decide which ones I can enter into our Club photo competition. We have a number of categories, but I can’t always find suitable pictures for all of them. This is the point in the year where I end up asking Mum if she could possible do a photo shoot with me so I have some for my entries. Perhaps I should ask today as the weather is going to be good. Maybe we could get some good ones.
