Wilma’s sensor
Wilma’s sensor stopped reporting information on Sunday night. Then it fell off altogether. Mum was concerned as it meant that she couldn’t check Wilma’s blood sugar through the night. The good news was that Mum hat the foresight to buy two sensors and was able to take Wilma to the vet to have the second one fitted.
When Wilma’s blood sugar drops too low, Mum has to give her some more food in an attempt to get it to go back up again. Wilma is thoroughly enjoying having extra meals, but it’s a high price to pay. The new sensor seems to work better than the old one and sends readings all the time. It also sets off an alarm when the level drops, which is enough to scare anyone into action.

Our friends have been sending back photographs of the wonderful time they are all having in Switzerland. I told you they went to the big celebration on Sunday, but then yesterday they visited the town of Entlebuch and of course took a photo at the station as we all do when we have the chance.
The humans went to a little museum about the area, which only opens my arrangement. Mum said she would have loved to go to that and wishes she wasn’t missing out. Then they went for a mountain walk, which I think I might have rather enjoyed.
Human things
Dad’s going to be doing human things today. I didn’t really listen to what he said as he was talking about other museums and drives and sorts of things I wouldn’t enjoy so much. He will be spending more time with dogs over the next few days, but I think he’s got a day on his own today. I wonder if he’s missing me as much as I’m missing him.
